An Important Pair of ormolu mounted Meissen swans the "Swans Among the Rushes" after Johann-Joachim Kaendler (1706 - 1775) depicted naturalistically atop bespoke pierced and open work ormolu mounts. Crossed swords mark in blue and incised "1069" and "1070" respectively . Mounts unmarked. Provenance: The Estate of Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. 9.75" H Circa - early 19th C.
