Meissen Schneeball style covered dish with a lobed lozenge form dish, the exterior encrusted with small white flower heads with lemon yellow stamens having gilt applied to the top margin and foot, the cover likewise decorated with applied flower heads to which naturalistic carnations, vibernum, cherries and rose blooms are affixed. With the mark of Jacob Petit under glaze. Provenance: The Estate of Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. 5.5"H Circa - Late 19th C.
