Meissen Schneeball "Snowball" chocolate pot with loop handle encrusted with white flower heads and yellow stamens with applied trailing roses and foliage upon which two canary yellow songbirds are perched, the lid likewise decorated with applied flower heads and roses with gilt foliage. Crossed swords mark in blue under glaze. Losses, repairs. Provenance: The Estate of Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. 4"H, Circa - Late 19th C.
