Miniature Viennese enamels: (1) ewer standing on a conical foot supporting a baluster form body with applied handle and mounts in gilt metal enameled to depict allegorical scenes; (1) pitcher with four lobes with applied gilt metal handle and enameled to depict cherubs as artists, the interior likewise enameled; (1) under plate decorated on the obverse with allegorical scenes the reverse decorated to depict castles and moats. All unmarked. Provenance: The Estate of Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. Tallest: 4.5"H, Circa - Last quarter 19th C.
