Viennese-Type Musical Picture Frame Clock, c. 1860
With 5-in. (13 cm) enamel Roman dial on repoussé matt decorated with gilt flower spandrels and vines in relief, three-train repeater movement chiming the hours and quarters on gong stamped "Ditmar", silk suspension, brass sun pendulum and key-wind two-air cylinder movement, No. 251/2269, with pull-string activation by "Slawik & Preiszler in Prag", cylinder 4 in. (10 cm), in giltwood frame with outer dimensions 19 ½ in. (50 cm) x 23 ¾ in. (60 cm), cylinder movement has been restored and plays well, clock movement requires an overhaul.
