Accompanied by a hand written letter from Mr. Bogdan himself, this 3 3/4" diameter, 1" wide spool reel made for Abercrombie & Fitch is in as new condition. Made between 1953 and 1954, this reel, as Mr. Bogdan points out in his letter, was one of the first reels made with two brake shoe construction. Having a black anodized finish and graceful S handle, this is a very handsome reel.
