Walnut Cabinet
probably 18th century in part, elaborately carved overall, upper case with two frieze drawers over a burlwood-veneered fall front with fitted interior set with twelve dovetailed drawers and central prospect section all with highly figured veneers, burlwood sides all with elaborate figural-carved surrounds in the Renaissance taste, lower case with three short drawers with figural pulls over three conforming long drawers, long drawers with figural bronze escutcheons and early wrought iron lock, carved paw feet, 77 x 53 x 23 in., repairs, restorations and rebuilding throughout, scattered pest damage.
