The Premier Variety Journal. The official organ of the variety artistes' federation.

A quirky British magazine that celebrates all that is theatre. Very hard to find in the US.
Front cover is merry and mirthful performer Jay Jason.
Peggy Powell on cover also.

Full of advertising for the most unusual acts - pantomime, ventriloquists, trapeze artists, vaudeville, trained dogs, masters of make-up, clowns and any variety acts imaginable. Stories of British show biz plus international names I recognize.

Very good condition with no tears. It has been handled and probably held horizontally - has soft horizontal and vertical creases down the center. Printed on thinner paper prone to yellowing.
