Description

This is a rare piece of original wrapping paper from the 1893 Chicago World's Fair.

Awesome graphics that are printed with a repeating pattern. Bicycles, Hot air balloons, elephant rides, adventurous and fantasy imagery.

The World's Columbian Exposition (the official shortened name for the World's Fair: Columbian Exposition, also known as The Chicago World's Fair) was a World's Fair held in Chicago in 1893 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus' arrival in the New World in 1492. The iconic centerpiece of the Fair, the large water pool, represented the long voyage Columbus took to the New World.

This is from a big time collector's estate which had some great oddities. We will be continuing to sell items from this large estate with 1,000's of pieces in all paper ephemera categories. Each one different and unique. Please keep checking our auction catalogs.

SIZE: 9" x 18". It looks like 9" was the original width.
