CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN FIGURAL GROUP OF SHEPHERD AND SHEPHERDESS WITH GOAT, the two figures in rococo-style gallant attire; she seated on the mound base, he seated on a tree stump, placing a flower in her hair, while a Billy goat looks on, the base molded with scrolls and decorated with applied flowers, all in polychrome enamels with gilt highlights. Spurious Chelsea gold anchor mark to rear. Attributed to Edme Sampson, Paris, France. Late 19th century. 5 1/2" HOA.
