First Model carbine rifle, made under contract by Massachusetts Arms Co., circa 1860; .35 cal.; part-octagon barrel, long version, 26 in. L.; figured walnut quarter stock; 42 1/2 in. L. overall; long-range sight mounted on tang (Flayderman 9B-073.5)
