IX, 351; X, 341 pp. First edition of an interesting account by Dobell of his travels to Kamtchatka and Siberia. Peter Dobell was the counsellor of the court of the Emperor of Russia, Alexander, and he travelled from Kamchatka to the Ural Mountians in August-November 1812. Dobell tells us a lot about the peoples of Siberia, its resources and the road that serves as the connection between the East and West limits of the Empire. The approximate dimensions are 5" x 8".
