A Balenciaga beaded and sequinned tulle evening gown, Spring/Summer collection, 1966, model no 42, unlabelled, the white tulle ground by Dognin smothered in pale green floral sequins, tiny white beads, the embroidery by Lanel, the neckline with floral lace band, bust 91cm, 36in An identical example is held in the Balenciaga Museum, Provenance Coountess Mona Bismark and was displayed in the exhibition "Mona Bismarck, Cristobal Balenciaga, Cecil Beaton" organised by the Mona Bismarck Foundation in January-February 1994.

The gown is in need of cleaning as the lining is rather soiled, a few beads and sequins missing here, but generally good condition
