About the Artist:

BORN:
April 28, 1930, Brighton, Massachusetts. At age twenty-seven Amoroso's position as an artist of importance was secured when he was nominated as "Outstanding New Talent in the U.S.A." by Art in America magazine.


STUDIED:
At age fifteen, Jack was the youngest student ever to be accepted in a Massachusetts accredited art school, "The School of Practical Arts", Boston, Mass. Two years later he attended the "Lacedra School of Fine Arts", also in Boston, Mass.
