Very detailed with floral border and center consisting of many birds, trees, baskets of flowers, pots of flowers, brick house and dog and small detailed sheep in right corner. Verse at top reads "Reason's Whole Pleasure, All The Joys Of Sense. Lie In Three Words Health, Peace And Competence. But Health Consists With Temperance Alone. And Peace Oh Virtual Peace Is All Thy Own". Signed and dated in center "Patience Bloomfield 1820". From Kentucky estate. Fine condition. Sampler 16 1/2" x 15 1/2". EST. $1000. - $2000.
