John Franklin Earhart (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1853-1938) 10" x 15" oil on wood panel titled "Paint Creek". Signed lower right "Earhart" and dated 1916. Also penciled on back "J.F. Earhart View on Paint Creek near Rocky Fork". Earhart studied at the Cincinnati Art Club. He exhibited at the Cincinnati Art Club, Art Institute of Chicago and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Listed in Davenport, Fieldings, Malletts Who's Who, etc. One 1" scratch; otherwise, fine condition in original frame. EST. $300. - $600.
