Selected views of landscapes, temples and towns in India. Mid 1860s-1870s. 7 albumen prints. Circa 23 x 29 cm. 3 with photographer's name/number in lower edge in the negative Bourne (1028, 1260, 1041), 1 monogrammed B & S (2516), and some numbered and annotated in pencil on the verso.
These attractive early images of India show the destroyed Residence of Lucknow after the revolt of 1857, the temple ruins of Fatehpur Sikri and views of Bombay and Bombay harbor. - Some crease marks, otherwise very good prints with strong tones.
