Travel album with various views of European cities, important monuments and works of art. 1860s/90s. 48 albumen prints and 1 lithograph. Each circa 21,5 x 16 cm, 15,5 x 21 cm, 27 x 20 cm and 20 x 26 cm. Many with photographer's name, title and number in the negative and 6 with photographer's blind stamp in lower edge, flush-mounted to album boards and annotated in ink below the images on the mounts, bound in original half calf album (edges and spine rubbed).
The album consists of views of Spain (Sevilla and Grenada, 17), charming earlier views of Prague by Frantisek Josef Arnost Fridrich showing signs in both German and Czech (7), Stonehenge (1), Milan (29), alpine scenery as well as famous works of art. - Several faded, some with oxidation mirroring and some with handling creases, otherwise many with strong tones, especially the images by F.J.A. Fridrich.
