Various portraits of Sicilian men. 1880s. 6 albumen prints. Each circa 22 x 16,5 cm and 16 x 12 cm. Most with blind stamp PROPRIETA ARTISTICA, each flush-mounted to card (soiling/foxing).
Rare picturesque portraits by von Gloeden of Sicilian men in traditonal costume. The blindstamp on these prints indicate that they are from von Gloeden's personal collection. - Minimal surface scratches, all with small white spots, one slightly faded, one more in edges, the others strong prints in good condition.
