Various views of Taormina with Sicilian peasants. 1880s. 4 albumen prints. Each circa 22 x 16,5 cm. 2 with blind stamp PROPRIETA ARTISTICA, flush-mounted to card (soiling/foxing).
Rare picturesque Sicilian scenes by von Gloeden. The blindstamp on these prints indicate that they are from von Gloeden's personal collection. - Minimal surface scratches, all with small white spots, one slightly faded, one more faded in edges, one with some foxing, the others strong prints in good condition.
