Gloeden, Wilhelm von: The Greek Theater in Taormi

The Greek theater in Taormina. Mid-1890s. Brown-toned matte silver (?) print on thin paper. 27 x 37,5 cm (31,3 x 42,5 cm). Numbered and annotated in pencil on the verso.
This attractive large print is a beautiful example of von Gloeden's many experiments with different photo emulsions and papers. - Soiled and foxing in edges and slight crease marks, otherwise in very good condition.
