A NORTH ITALIAN CUIR BOUILLI POWDER-FLASK, LAST QUARTER OF THE 16TH CENTURY
with tapering wooden body of D-section, the outer surface covered in leather finely tooled with a pair of rampant monsters supporting a vacant escutcheon, and all within a moulded beadwork frame, the inner face with a portion of leather, and retaining its top mount with moulded nozzle and spring cut-off (belt hook, basal cap and a portion of the inner face missing)
