Condition/Details: Bound in its original or period calfskin boards with hand-tooled gilt embossing, raised bands and spine label, this antique text is a scarce very early printing of this famous poem, including "several descriptions and episodes never before printed." The original frontispiece engraving is present, as are the marbled endpapers. The volume shows some external age/wear, and is solidly bound with front gutter wear, the pages are bright.
