Author: uncredited
Publisher: Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc.
Printing Year: 1967 Second Printing, signed by Bill W.
Condition/Details: This is a unique copy of this landmark AA history title, bearing a lengthy 1968 inscription from Bill W. to Gudrun Crosier who was a long time supporter of AA. At the time of this writing, we were unable to locate any signed copies of this book for sale. This is one of two early AA books bearing such inscriptions that we are selling during this auction. The second woman to join this organization, Crosier played an instrumental role in the founding of a chapter in Iceland. She was very good friends with Bill W. and Dr. Bob, the founders of AA, and she traveled to Reykjavik many times to help ensure the organization's success there. Mrs. Crosier passed away at the age of 84 on November 15, 1988. The book shows some external age wear, and is solidly bound with bright pages. The book measures approximately 65" x 8.75" and contains 333 pages. Shipping cost for this lot will be quoted based upon insurance and distance.
