Description
Mötley Crüe were one of the premier symbols of the decadent excesses of the 80s; their glam metal hybrid announced the arrival of hair metal as a major commercial and cultural force. "Smokin' In the Boys Room," their first hit single, was released in 1985 on the Theater of Pain album. The theme of rebellion in the lyrics fit in perfectly with the band's wild, hedonistic image. The single, on the Elektra label, is mounted here on a blue background alongside the record sleeve. Lead singer Vince Neil signed a dedication to Dick Clark in silver ink across the sleeve: "To Dick - The Legend, AB Rocks - Vince Neil." Display is housed in a gold-toned frame. Frame: 12 1/4 x 16 1/4
