Bisque shoulderhead with short round face and very plump cheeks, oval-shaped inset cobalt blue glass eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, closed mouth in slight smiling expression, pale pink lips with accent detail, original blonde mohair wig over cork pate, original kid fashion body with gusset joints and separately-stitched fingers, wears antique blue silk gown with abundant layers of scalloped edge flouncing, matching bonnet, purse and parasol, plus antique ivory opera glasses; antique undergarments, dark leather shoes marked “Bru Jne Paris 2”. Commentary: Most lovely poupee having very pale bisque, well-defined features and delicate facial decoration, sturdy original body; probable original costume which has been enhanced and stabilized with antique laces, original signed shoes; very faint bit of dust in bisque on right cheek.
