SIOUX CHILD'S BEADED BONNET. Cap style b

SIOUX CHILD'S BEADED BONNET. Cap style bonnet with sinew sewn beading and lined with early acid dye calico. Geometric bead design in red 'white heart', cut metallic and green on a white ground. Edge beading is old yellow and deep blue alternating squares which also follow the seams of the cap. Red silk ribbon lining around face and for tie is worn and faded pink. Ca. 1890. On custom stand. Ex Bruce Van Landingham. 5 1/2" h.
