CHIPPEWA TOY CRADLEBOARD WITH FINELY BEADED COVER. The formed wooden back has a heart cutout, with a lovely curved bow and heart pierced decoration on the back board. All painted a lovely muted green. The beaded cradle wrap is finely beaded with a floral design in realistic bluebells and wild anemones. The faded velvet backing lends charm to the beading. Glued break along middle of board. Ca.1860. Ex Paul Gray. 14"l. 6" w.
