a) "Josephs Tepee for X'mas celebration at Nespelem." 5 7/8" x 8 ¼" gelatin silver print by Latham, with notation in Latham's hand verso. Crisp details of the winter scene. Lower left corner trimmed. [D3] See "With One Sky Above Us," pp. 112, 113, where it is misidentified as "Albert Waters' winter quarters."

b) "Josephs Celebration Tepee." 4" x 5" gelatin silver print by Latham, with notation in Latham's hand. Later pencil inscription by Ada Stillwell Dickson [her married name], "nearer (larger) view." Latham's dog in foreground. [3+].

c) "The Nespelem Village." 3 5/8" x 4 5/8" gelatin silver print by Latham, with his caption verso. Rich excellent view ca. 1898 – 1900 [3+].

d) "Chief Joseph's tepee at Nespelem " – Caption signed by Edward S. Meany, 1901. Later pencil notation by Ada Stillwell Dickson: "Small tent for Joseph's saddle." "Kopet" figure 31. 6 ½" x 4 5/8" matte gelatin silver print. Fold, diagonal scratch, corner and edge chips. [D2]
