Political
Tintype With Strong Resemblance of Stonewall Jackson

c. 1863 Civil War Brass Pinback With Gem Tintype With Strong Resemblance of Stonewall Jackson, Choice Very Fine.
The case for Gem size tintype measures 1.25” x 1.125”. This possibly is a memorial pinback, with the pin being absent. A head-and-shoulders portrait of a man that that closely resembles Stonewall Jackson, who was mortally wounded by his own men at Chancellorsville on May 2, 1863, and died eight days later. Very nice condition except for a couple of imperfections in the glass.
