Mexican War Eagle Pommel Militia Artillery Saber with Ivory Grip, 31.5" curved blade, both sides of blade engraved with military trophies and floral ornament. Ivory handle, brass hilt, eagle head pommel, cast eagle on ricasso. Maker's name partially visible beneath the langet.
Condition reportLacking scabbard. Blade is basically a dark grey with light pitting on both sides of the blade. Several small nicks on sharp edge of the blade. Brass guard has been cleaned. Ivory handle has one thin 2" crack.
