The opal cabochon is surrounded by Old Mine Cut Diamonds, set into a wonderful detailed 14K Yellow Gold Ring. The opal dimensions are estimated at 6.55 by 6.56 mm, depth 3.4 mm, for an estimated carat weight of 0.85 (over three quarter carat). There are no fractures in the opal, but does have light crazing on the underside. As for the Old Mine Cut Diamonds, there are thirteen of them, ranging from 0.02 to 0.04 carat each, for an estimated diamond weight of 0.36 carat.
