1928 Antique Cufflinks - Birmingham Hallmarked

Item Details

Description

A set of 9K Rose Gold, Cufflinks by G H Johnstone and Company, circa 1928. G H Johnstone stared his career working for Hammond Turner and Sons, button manufacturers. In 1860 he started working in jewelry and by 1870 he started his own company producing cufflinks and napkin rings. The makers mark was registered in Birmingham in 1907. These cufflinks feature finely detailed scrolls and the rose gold color will complement almost any color of shirt. There is a tiny dent on one of the edges, visible in the 1st picture, bottom right cufflink, lower left side. These cufflinks are full hallmarked for Birmingham, 9ct gold, and 1928.
