The painting is wax lined and on a new stretcher. There is a large (12 linear inches) tear in the upper left corner. There are nine (9) areas of scattered retouching each approx. 3/8" to 5/8" in diameter, mostly confined to the background. Numerous, small scattered retouching cover minor abrasions and paint losses at the edges of the canvas.
