Concorde & Spitfire This is a flown Concorde Turbine Blade and a solid piece of metal is of a Battle of Britain Spitfire Mk1Fuselage R6753, flown by Flight Lieutenant David John Pinckney in which he was shot down in combat on 29th August 1940 by a German BF 109e.Pilot Pinckney bailed out safely with slight Injury and minor burns. The aircraft was from 603 Squadron. The wreckage of this Aircraft has been recovered and is now on display at The Battle of Britain Museum in HawkinEdition of 75 Number.
