The mirror of perfect round form, framed with gilt silver, attached to a gilt silver and ivory handle incised with flowers and leaves patterns, enforced by two flying gilt-silver bats, the reverse side ornate with six different semi-precious stones such as la pis lazuli, malachite, agate, and more, the center holds a carved ivory roundel depicting an elder and child in a forest setting, the backside of handle attached with an ivory head-hook of an elder chi-long confronting a young chi-long. 19th century
