Description
A Caucasian kindjal (dagger), late 19th century. The kindjal has a tapering double-edged blade, cut with a fuller on each side. The hilt and scabbard are entirely covered with nielloed silver decorated on the outside with panels of foliage in low relief. The reverse is nielloed with a running design of flowers and foliage.
Provenance: Christie's, London. A similar sold in 2010 for £3750.

Condition
There's a small dent at the top of the hilt. Also there's a crack in the bottom half of the scabbard, please see photo 6.
