106. “Rough Rider Riding Crop”- Dated 1899-Heavily cast gold handle with touches of silver inscribed “San Juan Hill Rough Rider 1899”, oral legend has it that this probably belonged to the original rough rider himself, Mr. Roosevelt, but there is no provenance with this crop, ornate gold work which is all hand chased, high relief horse, saddle and stirrups, most likely a rhino shaft and a horn tip-H. 1 ¼” x 2 ¾”, O.L.- 26 ¾”
