3 7/8” Turkey Tail, Harrison Hornstone, found in April 1984, by David Crick while plowing his potato field, he found 44 Turkey tails and fragments of others, Murray State University Archaeologists excavated the site and concluded it contained a total of 81 blades all made of Hornstone from Kentucky, not Indiana Hornstone, no human burials were associated Gusler acquired them in 2009, This is known as the Murray State Archaeological Dig – The David Crick Cache Site – This makes the site highly important, it raises doubt regarding the assumed trade connections to many sites.
