Bolivia, under Spanish rule, Potosi mint, Ca 1635 CE. From the Spanish wreck the Concepcion, lost in 1641 a large solid silver "Piece of 8" also known as a cob. Royal shield and cross and a very irregular shaped piece that would make a stunning pendant! 23 grams, 1-1/4" W at widest.
