Pleasing 1834 Classic Head Gold Half Eagle 1834 Classic Head $5 Gold Half Eagle, “Plain 4” variety, About Uncirculated-50. This attractive early gold Half Eagle has semi-prooflike surfaces and lots of natural flashy mint luster. There are a few tiny scattered contact marks, the heaviest being on the reverse, just above the eagles beak. A pleasing coin having no major problems or rim bruises.
