Description

Two Busts of Napoleon Bonaparte, 20th c., one of patinated spelter and one a figural porcelain Armagnac bottle, Spelter- H.- 9 1/4 in., W.- 6 1/2 in., D.- 3 1/2 in.

Condition

Conditions consistent with age. Dust debris observed on the spelter bust, with gilt loss on the hat decoration and shoulder tassels observed. The cork bottle stopper is noted as broken on the porcelain bust. Light brown discoloration is observed on the back of the piece. Two fine examples. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD “AS IS.” NO STATEMENT REGARDING CONDITION OF ANY ITEM, WHETHER IT IS MADE ORALLY AT THE AUCTION OR ANY OTHER TIME, OR IN WRITING IN THE CATALOGUE OR ELSEWHERE, SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE A WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR ASSUMPTION OF LIABILITY.
