FINE LOUIS XV STYLE BRONZE MOUNTED KINGWOOD BUREAU PLAT, LATE 19TH CENTURY
The shaped rectangular leather inset top, above a frieze with three drawers, raised on cabriole legs with elaborately cast helmeted espagnolettes, foliate cast pulls and scroll cast sabots.

Height 31 in., Width 51 1/2 in., Depth 31 in.

Condition

Very Good Condition, excellent patina to bronze and color of kingwood. There are many stains, scratches, imperfections to the leather top however it is original. The quality of the bronze casting is also very good. Good proportions and well constructed. Overall a very nice Bureau Plat.
