Description

Interesting American Aesthetic Movement Stained Pine Umbrella/Walking Stick Cabinet, fourth quarter 19th century, with leaf- and vine-carved details, the top fitted with a hinged lid opening to a glove box, and a pair of cabinet doors in the front for cane and umbrella storage, probably originally ebonized, h. 53", w. 19", d. 13-1/2".

Condition

In good condition and retaining a nicely refinished surface. There is a very small chip to a flower bud on the right door. Old repair to the top hinge area of both doors. The lock is gone. Minor dings to the base from use.
