Description
Introduced in 1989 the Ferrari Mondial 3.2 t was a 'spearhead for a new generation of V8 Ferraris' and the final version of the Mondial offered. The 't' was reference to the new engine and transmission layout that now saw the engine mounted longitudinally with the gearbox transverse, a characteristic of Ferraris F1 program of the eighties. This set-up would become the standard for all the future mid engined V8 sports cars beginning with the 348 and continuing through to the 360. Servicing now became an easy operation and even a clutch change was simple. The Mondial t represented major advances in performance and handling and incorporated some firsts for Ferrari with power steering and ABS. The occasional rear seats now allowed it be to enjoyed by four occupants.
Offered here is a beautiful low mileage Ferrari Mondial t finished in the stunning combination of Blue Sera and Cream interior. The mileage is 28,969 miles and is substantiated by MOT's and the most comprehensive service history. It has had six cambelt services, the last performed in December 2012 (28,058mls) by Ferrari specialist, Nick Cartwright. In all there are ten stamps in the service book. This is a very 'correct' Ferrari that has been exceptionally pampered all it's life.
The records show that only 31 RHD Mondial t's came to the UK and of those only five were finished in blue. It surely represents great value today and a chance to enter and an exclusive ownership club without high maintenance costs with a stunning Ferrari that ticks all the boxes.
