During the late 50’s, Director Robert McKimson embarked on a series of spoofs on popular television programs. In this cartoon, Bugs and Daffy wander from studio to studio, and this film short is a takeoff of The Art Linkletter Show, where people perform different stunts to win money. Despite appearing in only five of the original Looney Tunes shorts, Marvin Martian has developed a cult following. Marvin was created by Director, Chuck Jones and made his first appearance in Haredevil Hare in 1948. Marvin was created to be the opposite character of loud-mouthed Yosemite Sam- being quiet and soft-spoken, however his actions were incredibly destructive and dangerous. No other character is like Marvin Martian, who wears a Roman soldier’s uniform with old-fashioned basketball shoes, and his interactions with Bugs and Daffy Duck are literally out of this world!
