DESCRIPTION: These are a colonial hand carved cherry wooden butter paddle, a colonial hard or rock maple wooden butter paddle, and a hand turned black ash butter bowl from New England, circa 1700s. The cherry butter paddle is hand carved out of one solid piece of cherry wood with a long formed grip style handle with a palm and thumb rest carved on the top for easier handling. The maple butter paddle was hand carved out of one solid piece of hard rock maple wood.The black ash butter bowl is hand turned from a single piece of black ash wood and has a narrow incised rim collar. MEASUREMENTS: Cherry butter paddle is 10 inches long including handle and 5 1/2 inches wide. Maple butter paddle is 8 1/2 inches long including handle and 4 inches wide. Black ash butter bowl is 12 inches wide, 3 inches high, and 37 inches round in circumference.SHIPPING: Packaging, handling, and shipping for all locations in the 48 Continental United States is $30.
