This oil painting by Hermann Mühlen is dated 1946. Shown is a sunny park with a woman walking along a tree-lined road beside a river. Mühlen’s work is influenced by the various movements of modern art. Our painting is characterized by a two-dimensional design, the use of vigorous colors creating a striking light and shadow effect.



The painting is signed and dated and verso inscribed. It is slightly soiled due to its age, otherwise in good condition. The dimensions of the stretcher are 80.5 x 59.5 cm. (cru)
