Description
Theodore Roosevelt: An Important 1¼" 1912 Button.  This colorful design was widely used on 1908 William Howard Taft & William Jennings Bryan buttons, but we suspect only salesmen's samples were made in 1912. We have seen perhaps two Wilsons offered, and this is the first Theodore Roosevelt we can recall encountering. Like the Roosevelt & Johnson in this sale, it has a metal back for attachment to a fob. There is some abrasion and loss to the curl, not visible from the front. Displays in near mint condition and quite handsome.
