Henry Ford: A Rare 1920s Presidential Hopeful Pinback. No candidate's buttons are more sought after and highly valued by "hopefuls" collectors than those of Henry Ford. A household name and towering industrial pioneer, Ford was beloved by his employees. However, despite various trial balloons for runs for U.S. senator from Michigan or president, Ford never achieved any political traction. Various buttons and paper items were produced, but all apparently in limited numbers, as all are rare today. This 7/8" button, particularly desirable for its "For President" slogan, is one of only several known examples. Excellent condition.
